Pao de Queijo Recipe | Receita Pao de Queijo

Pao de Queijo is a delicious Brazilian treat.

These traditional soft chewy cheese rolls are perhaps Brazil's most popular snack; eaten throughout the year at anytime of day.

This Pao de Queijo recipe will make approximately 40 cheese puffs.



Ingredients List:

  • 4 Eggs
  • 4 Cups of Tapioca Flour
  • 1 Cup Butter
  • 2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 3 Cups of Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 Cups of Milk
  • Preparation:

    Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.

    Mix the milk, salt, and butter into a saucepan and bring to a boil while constantly stirring the mixture.

    Once the mixture comes to a boil remove the mixture and slowly add the tapioca flour and continue to stir.

    Add your parmesan cheese and eggs to the mixture and mix until you have a smooth consistency. Fill each muffin pan to the top of each cup.

    Bake for approximately 20 minutes or until golden brown.
