Productos Doņa Jimena was founded in 1961 in the small Spanish village of Jaén (Andalucía) named Alcaudete. The name of the company, Doņa Jimena, comes from the name of the wife of the Cid Campeador, the Spanish hero who fought against the muslims in Spain.

Today, Doņa Jimena is one of the largest producers in Spain of chocolates, pralines, pastries and other traditional Spanish specialities for Christmas. It proudly exports its products to more than 70 countries in Europe, North and South America, Middle East and Asia. Doņa Jimena products are holiday tradition throughout Spain and are regularly given as gifts during Christmas.
